Usage guidelines
If the peer device does not support fragment reassembly, you must configure the undo ppp mp fragment
enable command on the local device to disable MP fragmentation. This enables the two devices to
communicate. After that, outgoing packets are not fragmented, but they still carry an MP sequence
number and fragment tag.
After you configure the undo ppp mp fragment enable command on an interface, the settings configured
with the ppp mp lfi and ppp mp min-fragment commands become invalid on the interface.

ppp mp max-bind
Use ppp mp max-bind to set the maximum number of links allowed in an MP bundle.
Use undo ppp mp max-bind to restore the default.
Syntax
ppp mp max-bind max-bind-num
undo ppp mp max-bind

The maximum number of links allowed in an MP bundle is 16.

Parameters
max-bind-num: Maximum number of links allowed in an MP bundle, in the range of 1 to 128.
Usage guidelines
Use the default setting in normal cases. Inappropriate use of this command can cause PPP performance
degradation. Make sure you understand the impact of this command on your network before you use it.
If the maximum number of links allowed in an MP bundle configured is less than the actual link number
of an MP bundle, you will fail in MP bundling. Therefore, make sure that the maximum link number
configured is larger than the actual one.
After you change the maximum number of bundled links for an MP bundle, you must shut down and then
bring up all the physical interfaces bound to the MP bundle for the modification to take effect.
