Using On-hook dialing

Perform the following steps to make a call without lifting the handset.

1. Leave the handset in the cradle.
2. Press the line (DN) key.
3. Listen for the dial tone and dial the
number.
4. When the called party answers, lift the
handset.
5. To end the call, return the handset to the
cradle
