Setting REC mode / AUDIO mode / Initialize ALL Setting
REC mode

Press [MENU (SHIFT + SEARCH)] to show the MENU window.
Use [▲, ▼, , ] to select the "SETUP" and press [ENTER].

Use [▲, ▼] to select the "Picture" and press [] or [] .

Use [▲, ▼] to select "Rec Mode" and press [ENTER].

Use [▲, ▼] to select the Rec Mode and press [ENTER].

AUDIO mode
■Recording sound using LPCM
To obtain higher quality recordings using LPCM, prepare as follows:

Press [MENU (SHIFT + SEARCH)] to show the MENU window.
Use [▲, ▼, , ] to select the "SETUP" and press [ENTER].

Use [▲, ▼] to select the "Sound" and press [] or [] .

Use [▲, ▼] to select "Audio Mode for XP/SP Recording" and press [ENTER].

Use [▲, ▼] to select the Audio Mode and press [ENTER].

Note
・Sound recordings made using LPCM require more information than usual. Consequently the picture quality of LPCM recordings may be
less than that of normal XP/SP mode recordings.

Clock Settings

･The SETUP screen appears.

Press [MENU (SHIFT + SEARCH)] to show the MENU window.
Use [▲, ▼, , ] to select the "SETUP" and press [ENTER].

Use [▲, ▼] to select the "Settings" and press [] or [] .

Use [▲, ▼] to select "Clock" and press [ENTER].

Use [, ] to select the item you want to change.

･The items change as follows: Hour⇒Minute⇒Second⇒Day⇒Month⇒Year
Use [▲, ▼] to change the setting.

Press [ENTER] .

Press [RETURN] .
･The SETUP screen reappears and the clock starts.
Note
In the event of a power failure, the clock will operate on its back up system for a minimum of 3 years.
Initialize ALL Settings
The all settings in the SETUP screen return to the factory settings. (except for the TV System and Clock)
