FUNCTION menus contain information about the disc or unit. These menus allow you to perform operations by changing this information.

Common procedures

Press [FUNCTION (SHIFT + STATUS)] .
Use [▲, ▼] to select the menu and press [].

Use [▲, ▼] to select the item and press [].

Use [3, 4] (10) to select the setting.

・Some options require different operations. Follow the
onscreen instructions and the instructions described later.
■To return to the previous screen
Press [RETURN] .
■When you are finished
Press [FUNCTION (SHIFT + STATUS)] .
For your reference
・The screens depend on the disc contents.
・Depending on the condition of the unit (playing, stopped, etc.) and the type of software you are playing, there are some items that you
cannot select or change.

Soundtrack
Audio attribute
Subtitle
Subtitles on/off
Turn the subtitles on or off.
Audio channel [RAM]
Select the audio channel.
For your reference
・You can only select subtitles, soundtracks and angles if they are recorded on the disc.
・Some discs allow changes to soundtracks, subtitles only by using the disc's menus.
・If the subtitles overlap closed captions recorded on discs, turn the subtitles off.
Play menu
Repeat play
You can play a program, play list, chapter, title, group or track
repeatedly.
During play
Use [▲, ▼]
[RAM] [DVD-R]
PRG (PROGRAM)
[DVD-V]

Note
・Repeat play may not work as desired with some discs.
・Repeat play does not work if the disc's elapsed play time is not shown on the unit's display.
・You cannot use repeat play to repeat an entire Finalized DVD-R discs or all the play lists on a DVD-RAM.
Marker
You can mark points on a disc to return to later. (See Playing DISC)
