Handling Messages and Error Messages

A Message Appears

These are the main messages that appear on the machine's display to prompt correct operation.
They do not indicate any error. Follow the prompts and take action accordingly.

Explanation
Only a small amount of ink
remains.
This
message
appears
when the machine has
not been used for approxi-
mately a month.
White ink is being circu-
lated inside the machine.
This action is automati-
cally performed to clear the
white ink precipitation.
Printing is finished.
This message appears at
times such as during ink
cartridge replacement.
The front cover and panel
cover are open.
The front cover is open.
The panel cover is open.
This message appears at
times such as during head
cleaning.
The Height of the Media
was Automatically Re-set,
and Printing was Finished.
Check whether the drain
bottle is installed.
Action
Replace the ink cartridge indicated
by the flashing number with a new
cartridge.
Turn on the sub power once a month.
Wait until the displayed message
changes.
Press [ENTER].
Insert the ink cartridge indicated by the
flashing number.
Remove the ink cartridge indicated by
the flashing number.
Close either the front cover and panel
cover, or both. If the message is left
displayed, the print heads may get dry,
resulting in malfunction.
Insert the SOL INK cleaning cartridge
into the slot(s) indicated by the flashing
number.
Remove the SOL INK cleaning cartridge
indicated by the flashing number.
Press [ENTER].
Install the drain bottle, then press
[ENTER].
