Making Advanced Setup of Media
Specifying the minimum print
area allows reducing the print
time
Specify "FULL WIDTH S" to "PRTAREA",
the width in which the print heads
move is narrowed, reducing the print
time.

This feature is effective when the print
area or output data has a small width.
When the laser pointer is
difficult to see
Depending on the material used on the
media, such as transparent media and
high-gloss media with dark color used
on the print surface, the laser pointer is
difficult to see.
In such cases, the laser pointer may
become more visible by placing
masking tape on the print surface or on
the back.

Check the Print Area

After you change the print area, you can
check whether or not the print area that you
intend is set.

Press [FUNCTION] .

Press [ ] to display the figure on the below .

The laser pointer displays the print area that
has been set.
