Removing Punch Waste

This section describes how to remove punch waste.
If punch waste box or comb binding punch receptacle is full, a message appears on the display panel.
When the message appears, remove punch waste.

• While the message is displayed, you cannot use the punch function.
• The message is displayed until the comb binding punch receptacle or punch waste box is
reinstalled.
• If the message is still displayed, reinstall the comb binding punch receptacle or punch waste box.

Finisher SR5030 or Booklet Finisher SR5040

Open the finisher
front cover.
Pull out the punch
waste box.

Ring Binder

Open the ring binder
front right cover.
Using both hands,
pull out the comb
binding punch
receptacle.

Remove punch waste.
Reinstall the punch waste box.
Close the finisher front
cover.
Empty the comb
binding punch
receptacle.
Reinstall the comb
binding punch
receptacle.
Close the ring binder
front right cover.
