Ethernet Interface Commands on the Cisco ASR 9000 Series Router

negotiation auto

To enable link autonegotiation on Gigabit Ethernet interfaces, use the negotiation auto command in interface
configuration mode. To disable link autonegotiation, use the no form of this command.

no negotiation auto

This command has no keywords or arguments.

Usage Guidelines
To use this command, you must be in a user group associated with a task group that includes appropriate task
IDs. If the user group assignment is preventing you from using a command, contact your AAA administrator
for assistance.
The negotiation auto command is available on Gigabit Ethernet interfaces only.
