Performing board test

Description
Performs tests on the DRAM (image memory, bitmap memory) and optional memory on the fax control PWB.
Purpose
To check if reading and writing are performed correctly in respective installed memories.
Start
1. Press the start key. The screen for selecting an item is displayed.
2. Select the item to be set.
The test executes.
Display

Performing test on DRAM
1. Press the start key. The screen displays the test results as follows.
When the test result is OK:
TEST MEMORY
OK
If the test result is NG:
TEST MEMORY
NG IMG 0x********
********: address
IMG: DRAM (image memory) error
B.M: DRAM (bitmap memory) error
To return to the screen for selecting an item, press the stop/clear key.
Performing test on optional memory
1. Press the start key. The screen displays the test results as follows.
When the test result is OK:
TEST OPTION MEMORY
OK XXMB
XXMB: Capacity of the option memory which is installed
If the test result is NG:
TEST OPTION MEMORY
NG XXMB 0x********
********: address
If the test result is NG (memory is not installed):
TEST OPTION MEMORY
NG
If the test result is NG (memory which does not have compatibility is installed):
TEST OPTION MEMORY
INVALID MEMORY-TYPE
To return to the screen for selecting an item, press the stop/clear key.
Completion
If the test result is OK, press the stop/clear key at the screen for selecting an item. The screen for selecting a
maintenance item No. is displayed.
If the test result is NG, reset by turning the main power switch off and on
