Network Menu

Item
Host Name Enter the host name for the Optica unit of the LAN.
Domain Enter the Domain name for the local network.
IP Address Use the left and right arrow keys to select between
Type* DHCP and Static IP.
If you choose to specify an IP address, you must

Subnet Mask*
enter a Subnet Mask.
Default If you choose to specify an IP address, you must
Gateway* enter a Default gateway.
OK button Save changes and return to the previous screen.
Help button Display help for the network screen.

Gateway. Generally, you will obtain these settings from your network
administrator. This menu is accessed by selecting the Network
control button on Menu 1 and pressing ENTER.
