Active safety

The new A-Class features the high level of active
safety which is typical of Mercedes-Benz vehicles.
Driving safety is provided by:
• Further developed MacPherson front
suspension
• New 4-link rear axle
• Anti-lock braking system (ABS)
• Dynamic handling control systems (ADAPTIVE
BRAKE with ASR/ESP/GMR)
• Flashing adaptive brake lights
• Tire pressure loss warner
The driving safety is also increased by the
following driving assistance systems:
• ATTENTION ASSIST (attention assistance
system)
• Lane package (SA) incl. Blind Spot Assist and
Lane Keeping Assist
• Traffic sign recognition (only in combination with
COMAND Online multi media system (SA))
• COLLISION PREVENTION ASSIST
• DISTRONIC PLUS (SA)
• Cruise control (TPM) with SPEEDTRONIC (SA)
• Active Parking Assist (SA)
