Lifting the Router into the Rack

WARNING:
Do not lift the router using the installation handle or the handles
on the sides of the chassis. Use these handles only to help position the router.
Lifting the chassis and mounting it into a rack requires four people to lift and a fifth person
to secure the mounting screws. The empty chassis weighs over 205 lbs (64.7 kg).
Make sure the rack is in its permanent location and is secured to the building.
1.
Insert the captive screws of the installation handle into the holes previously occupied

by the captive screws of the power supplies.
Move the router as close as possible to the rack. Use a pallet jack if one is available.
3.
With two people in the front and two people in the back, hold the bottom of the chassis
4.
and carefully lift it onto the large and small (if installed) mounting shelves.
