REPOSITIONING THE RELEASE
PEDAL (FIGURE 8)

1. Remove the two (2) locknuts and washers that se-
cure the release pedal assembly to the wheelchair

frame.

When repositioning the release pedal, DO
NOT move the axle plate position.

The seat height, seat depth, back angle,
pivot point of seat frame, seating system,
S
caster position, size and position of the
P
rear wheels, as well as the user condition
A
directly relate to the stability of the wheel-
chair. Any change to one (1) or any com-
C
bination of the nine (9) may cause the
E
wheelchair to decrease in stability. These
adjustments MUST be performed by a
qualified technician.
2. Reposition the release pedal assembly to the desired
location.
3. Re-install the release pedal to the wheelchair frame
with the existing two (2) washers and locknuts. Se-
curely tighten.
4. If necessary, adjust cable assembly. Refer to AD-
JUSTING THE CABLE ASSEMBLY in this PRO-
CEDURE of the manual.
