three position VENTILATION AND OVEN LIGHT
SWITCH locatedin front of the air grilletowardthe fan
symbol. To turn the fan off, push the switch to the
middleposition.Ifthe switchispushedtowardthe light
symbol,the oven lightwill be turned on.
• The ventilationsystemwiUoperate automatically when the grillburneris in use.
• The ventilation system can be used to remove strong odors from the kitchen as
when choppingonionsnear the air grille.
Air Grille
The airgrille lifts offeasily. Wipe clean or wash in sinkwithmildhouseholddetergents,
It may becleanedin the dishwasher.Note: The ovenvent is locatedunderthe air grille.
When usingor cleaningthe oven, hot and moist air may be noticedin this area. Be
careful not to spillanything intothis vent.

Important: Filtershouldalwaysbeplacedat an angle. Asyou
face the front of the range, the top of the filter should rest
againstthe left sideof the vent openingand the bottomof the
filter should rest against the right side of the ventilation
chamberat the bottom. DO NOT OPERATE SYSTEM WITH-
OUT FILTER.

Thisarea, whichhousesthe filter,shouldbe cleaned inthe eventof spillsor whenever
itbeoomescoatedwithafllmofgreasa. It maybe cleanedwithpaper towel,dampcloth,
or sponge and mild householddetergentor cleanser.
