CHANGING THE TONER CARTRIDGE

When the toner level is low in the toner cartridge, the
message REPLACE CARTRIDGE appears in the LCD
display and the Error lamp blinks red.
You may be able to extend the service life of the toner
cartridge by removing it and rotating it five or six times to
redistribute the toner inside the cartridge. If you do this
and reinstall the toner cartridge in the unit, and the above
message no longer displays, you can continue printing.
However, make sure you have a new cartridge ready so
you can replace the old one when it finally runs out of
toner. If the message remains after you rotated the
cartridge, follow the procedure below to replace the toner
cartridge.
NOTE:
Use only Olivetti original accessories. You can
purchase this cartridge from your local
authorised dealer.
When the toner runs out, you can set the unit to
continue printing or to store the remainder of a
document in memory.*
Installing any other type of cartridge in this
unit could damage the unit and void your
warranty.
Leave the toner cartridge in its protective bag
until you are ready to install the cartridge.
Handle the toner cartridge carefully.
