Adding Rear Ballast

Parts needed for this step:
100lb Calcium chloride (obtain separately)
Rear weight kit, part number 104–1478 (obtain

separately)
Procedure
To comply with CEN standard EN 836:1997, ISO
standard 5395:1990, and the ANSI B71.4-1999
Standard, add 100 lb (45 kg) of calcium chloride
ballast is to the rear wheels and install the rear
weight kit (Part Number 104-1478).
Important: If a puncture occurs in a tire
with calcium chloride, remove unit from
turf area as quickly as possible. To prevent
possible damage to turf, immediately soak
affected area with water.

Installing CE Decals

Parts needed for this step:
4 CE decals
2 CE certicate
Procedure
If you will be using the machine in a CE
country, install the supplied CE decals over the
corresponding ANSI decals on the product. Store
the CE certificates in a safe location.

Procedure
1. Read the manuals.
2. View the Operator video.
3. The diagnostic ACE display overlay is for
diagnosing machine malfunctions. Store it in a
safe location.
4. The gauge bar, screws, and wing nut are for
use in setting the cutting units (refer to the
cutting unit Operator's Manual). Store them in a
safe location.
