Brake Pedals Two brake pedals (Figure 9) operate individual wheel brakes for turning assistance, parking, and to aid in obtaining better sidehill traction.     Pushing or Towing the Machine In an emergency, the machine can be moved by actuating the bypass valve in the variable displacement hydraulic pump and pushing or towing the machine. Important: Do not push or tow the machine faster than 2-3 mph (3-4.8 km/h) because internal transmission damage may occur.
