SYMPTOM
The monitor is not clear.
POSSIBLE CAUSES

The brightness is not
adjusted properly.

The monitor is exposed
to direct sunlight.
SYMPTOM
Image rotate, Image protect, Single-erase, All-frame erase and Card
formatting cannot be performed.
POSSIBLE CAUSES
1
A write-protect adhesive
seal is affixed to the
card.
SYMPTOM
When the camera is connected to a computer, an error message appears
while data is being transferred to the computer.
POSSIBLE CAUSES
1
The cable is not plugged
in correctly.

The power is OFF.
3
The batteries are
exhausted.
4
The serial port is not
selected correctly.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
1
Adjust the brightness.

Block the sunlight.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
1
Use the card after peeling off
the seal. Do not reuse the
write protect seal.
CORRECTIVE ACTION

Connect the cable correctly.

Turn on the camera, then set
the Mode dial to

Replace the batteries with
new ones or use the optional
AC adapter.

software to make sure the
