RECORDING—using the flash (Cont.)
Selecting the flash light emission timing —
Slow synchronization flash mode
This mode allows you to synchronize the light emitted by the flash with a slow
shutter speed. Setting the shutter speed to a lower value lets you capture a
sharper image.
SLOW 1 : 1st-CURTAIN:
To capture the subject at
the beginning of the
shutter release. The
streak made by the
headlights of a moving car
will come towards you.
SLOW 2 : 2nd-CURTAIN:
To capture the subject at
the end of the shutter
release. The streak made
by the taillights of a
moving car will recede.
