Here's what to do...
1 Insert a system diskette into drive A and press Enter to
reboot the system.
2 If the system works when you boot from drive A, your
hard disk may have a problem.
3 Make sure that your hard disk is properly installed.
Check all cable connections.
For information on the Setup Utility options, see the
Aptiva online help.
1 Make sure that the mouse is plugged in the PS/2
mouse port, then reboot the system.
2 If the error still shows after doing option 1, replace the
PS/2 mouse. It may be defective.
If any of these problems continue after taking the actions
listed, run the diagnostics programs that came with your
computer. If you need service, see "HelpWare support and
services" on page 79.
