Initiating a call using the active

call context-sensitive soft key menu

You can initiate a call using the active call context-sensitive soft key
menu.
To initiate a call using the active call context-sensitive soft key
menu:

Call Waiting

While you are on an active call and you receive an incoming call. You are
notified of an incoming call by a message on the LCD screen and a
notifying beep. Answering the new call places the active call on hold you
can also redirect the new call, transfer the new call, or ignore the new call.
For more information, see
1. Choose one of the following:
— While on a call, press the
context-sensitive soft key.
The IP Deskphone produces a dial tone.
2. Choose one of the following:
— Use the dial pad to dial the number
or SIP address.
Note: This places the current call on
hold, if it is not already on hold, and you
can continue to initiate the call as
normally.
— Press the
soft key to return to the in-call
screen.
