Tensione manuale
A cinghia nuova la freccia A
misurata a meta del ramo de-
ve essere di mm. 4,9 con un
carico compreso tra 2,7 e 3,1
kg.
A cinghia rodata il carico deve
essere 2,1 ; 2,7 kg.
Tensione mediante
tensiometro
A cinghia nuova il carico di
tensione deve essere 38 ; 45
kg. letti sulla scala 7M del ten-
siometro "tipo GATES 150". A
cinghia rodata il carico deve
essere 31 : 38 kg.
Per aumentare la tensione
della cinghia occorre allen tare
il dado C sulla staffa di regola-
zione ed il bullone E fissaggio
alternatore al supporto; spo-
stare I'alternatore verso I'e-
sterno e bloccare nuovamen-
te il dado ed il bullone.

Tension manuelle
Avec une courroie neuve la
fleche A mesuree a mibran-
che doit etre de 4,9 mm. avec
une charge comprise entre
2,7 et 3,1 kg. Avec une cour-
roie deja utilisee la tension
doit etre 2,1 -:- 2,7 kg.
Tension par I'intermediaire
d'un tensiometre
Avec une courroie neuve la
tension doit etre 38

45 kg. a
lire sur I'echelle 7M du ten-
siometre "type GATES 150".
Avec une courroie deja uti-
lisee la tension doit etre 31 ;
38 kg.
Pour augmenter la tension de
la courroie il est necessaire de
desserrer I'ecrou C sur Ie bri-
de de reglage et Ie boulon E
qui fixe I'alternateur a son sup-
port; deplacer I'alternateur
vers I'exterieur et bloquer de
nouveau I'ecrou et Ie boulon.

Tension manual checking
With a new belt the deflec-
tion A in the middle of the
two pulleys does not exceed
.19 ins. with a load of 5,95 ; 6.8
Ibs.
With used belt the load should
be 4.6 -:- 5.9 Ibs.
Checking by tensiometer
The tension of a new belt
should be 84 - 99 Ibs. read on
scale 7M of tensiometer Ga-
tes 150 type. With used belt
the load should be 68
+
84 Ibs.
To increase the belt tension
slacken the nut C o,n the ad-
justing bracket and the bolt E
holding the alternator on the
mounting, move the alternator
outwards and retighten nut
and bolt.
