Consumable Life Expectancy
NOTE
When the on-screen display indicates that the toner is low, or if print appears
faded, first open the top cover and try tapping the cartridge a few times to
evenly distribute the toner powder. This will enable you to obtain the best
"yield" from your toner cartridge.
As a guide, the life expectancy of these items is:

Toner
Starter cartridge:
The machine is shipped with sufficient cyan, magenta, yellow & black toner for
2,300 images (based on ISO/IEC 19798).
Replacement cartridge:
Maximum yield for replacement cartridges:
• Cyan, Magenta, and Yellow: Approximately 10,000 images
• Black: Approximately 9,500 images.

Image drum: As the lifetime of the cartridge is proportional to the number of drum
rotations, simplex printing on LetterLEF paper with area coverage rate at 5% yields:
• 20,000 pages (approx.) for 3 pages per job
• 16,000 pages (approx.) for 2 page per job
• 11,000 pages (approx.) for 1 page per job

Transfer belt: Approximately 80,000 Letter pages.
•
Fuser: Approximately 100,000 Letter pages.
Consumable Order Details
Only use genuine original consumables to ensure the best quality and performance from
your hardware. Non original products may adversely affect your MFP's performance.
