Removal And Installation; Windscreen And Rear Window Glass - Alfa Romeo GIULIA Shop Manual

Proceed the same way both for the
windscreen and the rear window.
REMOVAL
• Take the corner finishers away of the
mouldings.
• From inside out, apply pr essu re
evenly distributed on the glass; from
the outside, have an assistant holding
the glass when it pops out of
weatherstr; p.
To make the windscreen removal
easier, cut the inner lip of weatherstrip
with scissors; in this case the
weatherstrip must then be renewed.
INSTALLATION
• 1 - Carefully clean the edges of the
glass and install the weatherstrip on it.

WINDSCREEN AND REAR WINDOW GLASS
The same procedure applies to all Saloon and Coupe models.
Giulia and 1750 Saloon are shown for example purpose.
