IDLE SPEED AD~USTMENT

4. Adjust the idle speed screw until the engine idles at
825-875 rpm. then retighten the locknut.
5. On eng ines equipped with remote control, measure the
gap between the cable end fitting (A, Figure 37 or "'igure
38) and lever fitting (B). The specified gap is 1-3 mm
(0.04- 0.12 in.). To adjust the gap, rotate the nut
(C)
on the
cable.
