2.0 Operating Instructions

2.1 Operating facilities
l Start/stop switch (7)
Position I: The high pressure washer will start.
Position O: The high pressure washer will stop.
l Spray handle with safety catch (3). When the
trigger is activated, water will spray out. The
spray handle features a safety catch preventing
activation of the trigger.
l Spray lance with adjustable nozzle (4). When
the nozzle is turned to the right, the pencil jet
is used. When the nozzle is turned to the left,
the flat jet is used.
2.2 Connections
2.2.1 High pressure hose
1. Attach the high pressure hose to the machine by
pressing the coupling of the high pressure hose
into the outlet socket of the machine (fig. 2).
2. Tighten the union of the hose.
Only use one extension hose of max. 7 m.
2.2.2 Water connection
You may use an ordinary garden hose.
IMPORTANT! Only use water without any
impurities.
If there is a risk of running sand in the inlet
water (i.e. from your own well), a filter should
be mounted.
1. Run water through the garden hose to remove
any impurities.
2. Attach the garden hose to the outlet socket of
the machine using a standard female quick
connector (fig. 3).
Connection to the public mains according to
regulations.
2.3.3 Mains power connection
WARNING! Do not touch plug and socket with
wet hands.
Only connect the machine to an approved installa-
tion.
1. Check voltage and fuse in accordance with the
model tag of the machine.
2. Uncoil the cable completely and plug it in.
2.3.4 Spray lance - accessories
1. Clean the nipple of the accessory and the bayo-
net coupling of the spray handle of any impuri-
ties each time the lance/accessory has been
dismounted.
2. Plug the nipple of the spray lance/accessory
into the bayonet coupling and turn (fig. 4).
3. If you want to apply a foam sprayer, attach it
to the spray lance (fig. 5). The quantity of
foam can be adjusted on the knob (a).
2.3 Starting-up
1. Check that the machine is in horizontal posi-
tion.
2. Turn on the water.
3. Activate the trigger of the spray handle (fig. 1)
and run the water until the inlet hose and the
pump are free from air.
NOTE! At start-up the pressure can be irregular
due to air in the pump system. After a short pe-
riod of running there should be no more air left in
the system and the pressure will stabilize.
4. Press the start/stop switch (7) into pos. I.
2.4 Operation
Always hold the spray lance with both hands!
The high pressure washer is activated by the
trigger (fig. 1) of the spray handle.
When pausing during operation, stop the machine
by pressing the start/stop switch (7) and secure
the spray handle against inadvertent use by lock-
ing the trigger with safety catch, fig 1.
2.5 Adjustment of nozzle
The pressure is regulated by turning the nozzle:
TO THE RIGHT
TO THE LEFT

2.6 End of operation

1. Stop the machine by pressing the start/stop
switch (7) into pos. O.
2. Disconnect the plug from the socket.
3. Shut off the water supply and activate the
trigger to relieve the machine of pressure.
