Number of copies Set the number of copies to be printed. This can be set
up to 999.
Emulation > Switches the printer emulation.
The mode can be further set if KC-GL emulation is set.
Font >
Selects the print font.
Page set
Size reduction settings [See page 2-29]
Page orientation Print direction settings [See page 2-29]
HARD DISK > The following settings can be made from sub-menus
when an optional hard disk unit is installed.
(For details, please read the hard disk unit instruction
manual.)
MEMORY CARD > The following operations can be performed from sub-
menus on memory cards installed in the printer.
MP tray mode > The multi-purpose tray mode can be set to priority,
cassette or manual.
Pressing the
allowing you to set the paper size for the multi-purpose
tray.
Univ. paper size This is displayed when an optional postcard feeder (EF-1)
or universal feeder (UF-1) is installed. The paper size can
be set for either of these feeders.
Paper Type This can be changed depending on the thickness of the
paper to be printed on.
To prevent paper jams, be sure to feed thick paper from
the multi-purpose tray and output on the face-up tray. For
details on paper which can be used, see Appendix B.
