6. Connect the sorter connectors.

Use the two bracket mounting screws to secure the bracket attached
to the sorter harness to the frame of the copier.
Connect the 6-pin and 10-pin sorter connectors to the 6-pin and
10-pin connectors of the copier and insert the tie band into the hole
under the board installation part.

7. Reattach the rear cabinet panel.
Use the four mounting screws to reattach the rear cabinet panel
removed in step (4) in its original position.

8. Reattach the front panel of the sorter.
Use the four mounting screws to reattach the front panel of the sorter
removed in step (3) in its original position.

9. Adjust the clearance between the sorter and the
copier.
Push the sorter gently against the copier's left cabinet panel. The
clearance spacers attached to the back of the sorter will determine
the standard clearance between the sorter and the copier. Turn the
adjustment knobs on the sorter seat to adjust the clearance so that
the spacers are touching the copier.
After adjusting the clearance, remove the clearance spacers.

10. Set the mode.

Operate the keys on the copier to set the mode.

The above key operation will display the currently set mode.

If only the SF-S15 is to be set, immediately after the above key
operation, operate the keys as follows:

If the mode is to be set for a combination with other options, add
up the total of the setting values for all the peripheral devices to be
set from the table shown below, and set theat total value.
