3. Remove the rear cabinet panel from the copier.

Remove the rear cabinet panel by removing the four screws which
secure it to the copier.

4. Connect the desk relay harness.
Remove the screw which secures the cover of the connector access
hole in order to remove the cover.
Next, remove the temporary connector which is attached to the 14-pin
connector of the desk relay harness, and connect the 14-pin connec-
tor to the connector on the desk.
* Note that the temporary connector will no longer be used.

5. Remount the rear cabinet panel onto the copier.
Remount the rear cabinet panel which was removed in Step 3 in its
original position and secure it with the four mounting screws.

6. Move the copier to the desired installation
location.
7. Lock the casters.
Move the lock levers of the two casters (one each left and right) at the
front side of the desk downward in the direction indicated by the
arrow in order to lock the casters.

8. Lower the adjuster to secure the desk in place.
Use pliers or a wrench to loosen the lock nut of the adjuster, and then
turn the adjuster to lower it to the floor in order to secure the desk in
place.
After lowering the adjuster, re-tighten the lock nut all the way up as
far as it will go in order to lock the adjuster.

(The initial paper size setting is A4R for the AB system and 8 1/2 x
11R for the inch system.)
9. Pull out the paper cassette.
Lift up on the handle on the paper cassette and pull the cassette out
from the desk until it stops, and then lift up on both sides of the back
of the cassette in order to pull it all the way out of the desk.
