* In case of Fig. 1
Move the front cabinet to the direction A, tighten the fixing screws
a (2 pcs.) and b (2 pcs.) in this order, and make a copy again to
check that there is no center dislocation.

Move the front cabinet to the direction B, tighten the fixing screws
a (2 pcs.) and b (2 pcs.) in this order, and make a copy again to
check that there is no center dislocation.

Be sure to unplug the copier and install the unit as
follows:
Procedures for installation on the copier
1. Remove the rear cabinet panel from the copier.
Remove the rear cabinet panel by removing the four screws which
secure it to the copier.

2. Install the lift-up unit.
Connect the connector (black colored) from the copier to the connec-
tor of the lift-up unit.
Next, hook the prongs on the lift-up unit into the rear frame of the
copier, fit the lift-up unit into the positioning bosses (two locations),
and secure it with the mounting screws A (2) and B (1).
Insert the twist band on the copier's harness into the lift-up unit.

3. Remount the rear cabinet panel onto the desk.
Remount the rear cabinet panel which was removed in step 1 back in
its original position and secure it with the four mounting screws.
