Enable Dial Back

As an added security feature, if this function is enabled, the switch disconnects
the calls that dial in to it, and dials back to one of the entries specified in the
table below:

If Fixed Number Dial Back is enabled, when there is an incoming call,

to any modem that is convenient for the user, as follows:
1. Key the password that the users must specify in the Password field.
2. When connecting to the KN1108v / KN1116v switch's modem, users
specify the phone number of the modem that they want the
KN1108v / KN1116v switch to dial back to as their Username, and
specify the password set in the Password field for their password.

Enable Dial Out

For the dial out function, you must establish an account with an Internet
Service Provider, and use a modem to dial up to your ISP account. An
explanation of the Enable Dial Out items is given in the table below:

Specify the telephone number, account name (username), and
password that you use to connect to your ISP.
Dial Out Schedule This entry sets up the times you want the KN1108v / KN1116v switch
to dial out over the ISP connection.

Every provides a listing of fixed times from every hour to every
four hours.
If you select Every two hours (for example), the KN1108v /
KN1116v switch will start dialing out every two hours
beginning at 00:00.
If you don't want the KN1108v / KN1116v switch to dial out on
a fixed schedule, select Never from the list.
Daily at will dial out once a day at a specified time. Use the hh:mm
format to specify the time.
PPP online time specifies how long you want the ISP connection
to last before terminating the session and hanging up the modem.
A setting of zero means it is always on line.
