    Chapter 2 Hardware Setup Overview For convenience and flexibility that allows mixing the PS/2 and USB interfaces, as well as multiple platforms, the KVM over IP switch design utilizes KVM Adapter Cables, that serve as intermediaries between the switch and the connected devices (refer to the installation diagram on p. 16). A separate KVM Adapter Cable is required for each server or device connection.
