Commercial Skip
By pressing CM/ZERO in Playback mode you can skip over 1, 2,
or 3 minutes of recorded tape as desired.

Press CM/ZERO repeatedly to select skip time in
Playback mode.
1st Press
1 min skip
Note:
• No indication appears.
Auto Playback
Insert a tape in Power off mode.
Power turns on, → Play.
Note:
• Playback begins if tape has no record tab.
Auto Rewind
(except for Recording)
Tape reaches its end
Rewind, → Stop.
Playback Auto Eject
(Repeat Play must be "OFF")
Tape with no record tab reaches its end
Rewind, → Stop, → Eject.
Digital Auto Tracking
Continuously analyses the signal and adjusts for optimum picture
quality.

2 min skip
3rd Press
OFF
3 min skip
Manual Tracking Control
Use during Playback and Slow Motion mode to reduce picture
noise. Press the 3 or 6 number key on the remote control or
CH ▲▼ on the unit until the picture clears up. To return to Auto
Tracking, press POWER off, then on again a few seconds later.
V-Lock Control
In Still mode, the 3 or 6 number key on the remote control or
CH ▲▼ on the unit operate as a V-Lock control to reduce jitter.
VCR Lock
All operations are prohibited except Timer recording and tape eject.
Useful for families with small children.
In Stop mode, hold down REC on the unit without a cassette
inserted for 7 seconds to turn "ON."
(Please ignore "NO CASSETTE" warning.)
Repeat above with or without cassette to turn "OFF."
Note:
• VCR Lock is cancelled automatically after about 24 hours if clock is set.
