Replacing Light Bulbs
The P38DF* light bulbs can be replaced in a few simple steps. Follow
the directions for removing the door on page 20. Once the door has
successfully been removed, proceed with figures 27 - 27b.
Figure 27. Remove the up-lighting glass from the burner tray.
Figure 27a. Wear gloves when handling light bulbs. To remove
a light bulb, pull connecting wire away from bulb and pull
light bulb up. Replace with new light bulb.
Figure 27b. Rotate newly replaced bulbs in a full circle. Place
glass cover back in the burner tray.

Maintenance
If your fireplace still does not operate correctly, consult your local Montigo dealer.
All service and repairs should be performed by a qualified Technician.

The following is a troubleshooting chart of possible problems:
PROBLEM
Pilot won't ignite or spark.
Main burner will not light.
One or more light bulbs are
not working
Fan not working
SOLUTION
- Check the on the batteries on the
remote or the receiver.
- Check the green LED on AC adaptor
-Check the green ground wire under
the valve
- Check the wiring on the valve as per
diagram
- Contact the local dealer for repairs
or service
- Make sure the fan speed control is on.
- 10 minute delay to turn on.
