Where You Are Going
To know where you are going, look at your trend arrows. Remember it
is not all about the number. Pay attention to the direction and speed of
your glucose change.
Steady: Glucose is steady (not increasing/decreasing more
than 0-0.06 mmol/L each minute).
Slowly rising: Your glucose could increase up to
1.7 mmol/L in 15 minutes.
Rising: Your glucose could increase up to 2.5 mmol/L
in 15 minutes.
Rapidly rising: Your glucose could increase more than
2.5 mmol/L in 15 minutes.
Slowly falling: Your glucose could decrease up to
1.7 mmol/L in 15 minutes.
Falling: Your glucose could decrease up to 2.5 mmol/L
in 15 minutes.
Rapidly falling: Your glucose could decrease more than
2.5 mmol/L in 15 minutes.
CGM measures the mmol/L per minute, this chart calculates what that could mean per 15 minutes.
