Hi
on the back of the machine where the rails attach to the cross bar with the step platform, the rail collars are coming out. Is there maintenance to do to ensure they don't come out and the rails stay straight?

To maintain a Schwinn 470 machine and help prevent the rail collars from coming out and keep the rails straight, you should:
1. Level the machine if your workout area is uneven or if the rail assembly is slightly off the floor: - Place the machine in your workout area. - Stand on the back of the rail assembly for about 20 seconds. - Step off the machine. - Loosen the locking wing nuts and adjust the levelers.
2. Ensure all screws are tight and tighten them if necessary.
3. Keep the console free of moisture and avoid using petroleum-based solvents or automotive cleaners when cleaning.
These steps help maintain the alignment and stability of the rails.
