Precise
Fill (on some models)
Thiswaterdispenser isequippedwith a featurecalled
"precise fill;' Thisfeatureallowsyouto choosea precise
amount of water (cupsor ounces)thatyouwould like
dispensed. P ints and Litersarealsoavailablefor LCD
models.
LCD Models
Access By: Home > Options > Dispenser Options >
PreciseFill> Set Amount
Activate By: Using the arrow buttons to select
the desired amount. PressMORE UNITSto select
between CUPS, O UNCES, P INTSor LITERS.
Non-LCD Nodels

Press the PRECISE FILLCUPS/OZ p ad.TheWATER
pad willlightand the CRUSHED a nd CUBED ice
padswill turn off.Thelast unitusedwill be
displaged.
Press the PRECISE FILLpad againto toggle
betweencupsand ounces.
If you selectedOUNCES, pressthe A or V pad to
selectthe numberof ouncesyouwould liketo have
dispensed between2-99 ounces. T hedefaultis
8 ounces.
If you selectedCUPS, pressthe A or V padto select
the amount you wouldliketo havedispensed. They
aredisplauedas0.25,0.3&0.5,0.66and 0.75,with the
highestamount being9.75cups.Thedefaultis 1 cup.
Forliters, t he amountsaredisplauedas0.05to 2.25
in increments of 0.05.
Press the cupagainstthe cradleand water will
begindispensing. It will automaticall Ustop when
theamount set hasbeendispensed. Thedisplay
willshowthe amount of water dispensed, beep,
thenresetafter 5 seconds.
NOTE: Donot leavethe dispenser u nattendedwhen
water isbeingdispensed.
If youwouldliketo stop dispensing water
beforethe specified amount hasbeendispensed,
just removethe cupfrom the cradle. T hedispla U
willshowthe amount that hasbeendispensed
for 5 seconds. I f the cupswitch ispressed again
withinthat time,the dispenser willcontinueup
to the setamount. If not, the displa Uwill return
to the set amount.
Important
Facts About Your Dispenser
, Donot add ice from traus or bagsto the storage
drawer.It maUnot crush or dispensewell.
Avoidoverfilling glass with ice and use of narrow
glasses.Backed-upice canjam the chute or
causethe door in the chute to freeze shut.
If ice is blocking the chute,poke it through
with a wooden spoon.
, Beveragesand foods should not be quick-chilled
in the ice storage drawer.Cans,bottles or food
packagesin the storage drawer maUcause
the icemakeror auger to jam.
Care and cleaning of the refrigerator.
, To keepdispensedice from missingthe glass,
put the glass close to, but not touching,
the dispenseropening.
, Somecrushed ice may be dispensedeven
though you selectedCUBED. T his happens
occasionally when a few cubes accidentallU
get directed to the crusher.
, After crushed ice isdispensed,some water maU
drip from the chute.
, Sometimesa small mound of snow will form on
the door in the ice chute.This condition is normal
and usually occurs when Uouhave dispensed
crushed ice repeatedl U .Thesnow will eventuallU
evaporate.

Cleaning the Outside
Thedispenserdrip area,beneath thegrille, s houldbe
wipeddry.Waterleft in this area may leavedeposits.
Remove the depositsby addingundilutedvinegarto
the well.Soakuntilthe depositsdisappearor become
looseenoughto rinseaway.
Thedispensercradle.Beforecleaning, l ockthe
dispenser bg pressing and holdingthe LOCK or LOCK
CONTROLS pad for 5 seconds. C leanwith warm water
and bakingsodasolution-about a tablespoon(15ml)
of bakingsodato a quart (1liter)of water.Rinse
thoroughlyand wipedry.
Thedoor handlesand trim. Cleanwith a cloth
dampenedwith soapywater.Dry with a softcloth.
Thestainlesssteelpanelsand door handles
(onsomemodels) canbe cleanedwith a commercially
availablestainless steelcleaner. A spray-onstainless
steelcleanerworksbest.
Donot useappliance wax or polishon the stainless
steel.
Keepthe outsideclean.Wipewith a cleancloth lightly
dampenedwith kitchenappliancewaxor mildliquid
dishdetergent.Dryand polishwith a clean,softcloth.
Do not wipe the refrigerator with a soileddish
cloth or wet towel. These mabtleavea residue
that can erode the paint. Do not usescouring pads,
powderedcleaners,bleachor cleanerscontaining
bleachbecausetheseproducts conscratch and
weakenthe point finish.
