Tiller control functions
Speed range
The speed range can be selected
by turning the speed knob on the
left side of the tiller head, see
(Fig. 17). This allows you to limit
your speed even when the control
lever is fully depressed. Turn the
switch away from you to increase
the speed selected and towards
you to reduce the speed selected.
The maximum forward speed is up
to 4mph and the reverse speed
approximately 2mph.
Note: When using your Scoota
indoors or reversing always
remember to reduce your speed
to ensure easier handling and
safety.
Horn
The Scoota is fitted with a horn
which, when activated provides an
audible warning to alert passers-by
of your approach (Fig. 18). To
operate the horn press the black
horn switch.
