Installing the exhaust hose to the air
conditioner (Fig 5).
Step 1:
Locate the left hand side of the
exhaust hose slot into position on the
rear of the air conditioner.
Step 2:
Locate the right hand side of the
exhaust hose into position just above the
tabs on the rear of the air conditioner.
Step 3:
Push downwards on the top of
the right hand corner of the exhaust hose
connector until it locks into place.
Installing the exhaust hose to the
window (Fig 6).
Step 1:
Snap the oblong connector into
position on the window attachment.
Step 2
: Open the window and fit the
adjustable window attachment. Extend
the attachment as required and lock into
place with the wingnut. Ensure the outlet
is not obscured. The window attachment
can be installed horizontally or vertically,
depending on the window.
Step 3:
Attach the condensate hose to
the air conditioner. Then run it out
through the rubber grommet in the
window attachment as shown (Fig 6).

INSTALLING THE EXHAUST

Note! The minimum distance from the
operating air conditioner to any
obstructing objects or walls is 50cm
(Fig 6).
Keep the exhaust hose as short and
straight as possible and minimise
kinks. This will maximise the cooling
performance.
Don't use extension pieces for the
exhaust pipe as this will reduce the
cooling performance.
Hot air and possibly mist will be
emitted from the exhaust hose.
Do not have the condensate hose any
higher than 1.5 metres above the
c o n n e c t i o n p o i n t a t t h e a i r
conditioner.
Keep the exhaust hose as straight as
possible and minimise kinks.
