Starting the air conditioner
Step 1: Ensure the cooler is plugged in and
switched on.
Step 2: Press the ON/OFF button on the
remote control or ON/OFF
control panel to start the air conditioner.
Step 3: Press the MODE button on the
control panel or MODE button on the
remote control to select the desired
operating mode (Fig. 11):
Auto mode - automatic settings set
when you turn the cooler on.
Cooling mode
Dry mode - refrigerated moisture
removal from the air
Fan mode - Fan only operation (no
cooling or heating - NR, TRB & FR
models)
Heating mode
(TRC model only)
Step 4: Press + / - on the control panel or
r s / on the remote control to select the
desired temperature.
The temperature set range is 17°C-31°C
Tip ! Do not set the cooling temperature
too low, or heating temperature too high.
This will consume more power. 24

Step 5: Press the FAN SPEED
on the control panel or FAN button on the
remote control to select fan speed. Each
press will cycle the fan speed as below:
High speed
Medium speed
Low speed
Note ! In dry mode, the fan will always be
set to low speed.

Note! In cooling mode, the fan will continue
to run even when the compressor has
cycled off (set temperature reached).
Step 6: The air conditioner has 2 sets of air
direction vanes. Press the SWING button on
the control panel or remote control to operate
the motorised vanes (the air will sweep from
side to side). Press the button again to stop
the sweeping vanes (Fig 12).
The outlet vanes can also be adjusted up or
down. Carefully move the vanes manually to
the desired position by hand (Fig 13).

Note! Auto mode settings will be overidden if
the mode is changed.
