5. TRANSPORTING THE PRINTER
5.1 Preparation before Transportation (place in the carton)
1) Drain ink inside the printer. (From the utility menu, execute "Move Printer".)
2) Move the carriage to the home position. (Only ink tanks shall be removed while the print
head remains on.)
3) Turn off the printer.
5.2 Moving the Printer
Move the printer after placing it levelly on the pallet. If inclined, there is a fear that ink may
leak. Turn off the printer before moving it.
