With proper installation and maintenance, your new gas
fireplace should provide years of trouble-free service. If you
do experience a problem, refer to the trouble shooting guide
below. This guide will assist you or a qualified service person

1. Pilot will not light
Ignitor did not spark
2. Pilot will not stay lit
3. Main burner will not light
4. Heater shuts off on ODS
5. Sooting
Repair and replacement work should only be done by a
qualified service technician.

Servicing

appliance must be replaced prior to operating the appliance.
Use only a qualified service person when making repairs.
Corrective Action
Purge gas lines and repeat ignition operation
Check gas pressure
Turn on gas supply
Check gas passage way
Call a qualified service person
Turn control knob to pilot position
Press in control knob while in pilot position
Correct electrode position
Replace assembly
Free ignitor cable, if damaged replace it
Connect cable to ignitor
Contact qualified service person or your gas company
Clean thermocouple contact
Replace gas valve
After pilot lights, keep control knob pressed in for
60 seconds
Tighten connection finger tight + 1/4 turn or replace
thermocouple or replace ODS pilot assembly
Contact a qualified service person

Clean burner orifice
Turn control knob to ON position
Open window

Insure no air currents are around appliance
