There are three colour groups (red, blue and green) whose intensity can be controlled individually allowing the creation of an unlimited range of colours.
- Page 6 LEDJ COLOR BURST OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Master/Slave The Master/Slave mode will allow you to link up as many units as you want in a daisy chain fashion. In this mode, the first unit in the daisy chain will automatically command the slave units: 1) Connect all units in a daisy chain fashion as described in the section following 2) Master Unit: Set dipswitch No: 9 to on and No: 10 to off.

LEDJ COLOR BURST BUILT-IN OPTIONS Built-in Program Options In this mode it is possible to access various in-built programs & control the speed of them. Firstly set the dip switch #9 to ON position & #10 to OFF Dip switches #1 – 3 adjust the program selection. By selecting a combination of ON or OFF different patterns will be produced. - Page 8 LEDJ COLOR BURST OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Setting the DMX address The DMX mode enables the use of a universal DMX controller. Each fixture requires a “start address” from 1- 511. A fixture requiring one or more channels for control begins to read the data on the channel indicated by the start address.
- Page 9 DMX chain. DATA Cable (DMX cable) requirements (for DMX operation): • The LEDJ Color Burst can be controlled via DMX-512 protocol. The DMX address is set on the back of the unit. Your unit and your DMX controller require a standard 3-pin XLR connector for data input/output (figure 1).
- Page 10 LEDJ COLOR BURST DMX SET UP Notice: • Be sure to follow figures 2 & 3 when making your own cables. Do not connect the cable’s shield conductor to the ground lug or allow the shield conductor to come in contact with the XLR’s outer casing. Grounding the shield could cause a short circuit and erratic behaviour.
