Separation Pressure Adjustment

Refer to Symptom 7 on pages 5-11 before making the adjustment.

Open the upper transport unit.
Disconnect the two relay

connectors.
Push the two levers (green) toward

each other to disengage them from
the upper locking holes and lower
the two levers until they release
from the lower locking holes.

Lift the document sensor unit and

keep it at the upper position with
one hand and pull the Roller ASY
out with the other hand.
Move the guide outwards on the

hopper table completely to the end.
Hold both ends of the guide plate,

press them down and then lift them
toward you to remove the guide.
