PURPOSE
This document defines the minimum acceptable performance required for this product.
Failure to pass any portion of this procedure will be cause for rejection and repair of the
UUT. Abnormal operation of the UUT, although not specifically addressed by this docu-
ment, must be brought to the attention of the appropriate process control engineer.
2.0
SCOPE
This test procedure is used to run a functional test on the Penn or Pitt Reader when it is
configured as either a board set or as a serial box reader.

TEST EQUIPMENT REQUIRED

3.01
Penn Reader Functional Test Station: 405–733
For a detailed list please reference the 405–733 bill of materials maintained by the
Cedar Rapids test engineering department.
3.2
869 MHz Quad Tag–in–a–box, T45891.
3.3
Penn Reader test software program PENNRDR. Test software will display its
name as "Penn Reader Functional Test, VX.XX".
