The readings mean:

OK
: Oil level correct.
CHECK
: Check oil level during

next refueling stop.
---
: No measurement possible
(above-mentioned conditions not
met).
If other information of the
onboard computer is dis-
played, this symbol continues to
z
be shown until the oil level is de-
tected as correct again.
The most recently measured sta-
tus appears in the display for
five seconds the next time you
switch on the ignition.

Warning lamps

Display
Warnings are displayed with the
corresponding warning lamps.
Warnings for which no sepa-
rate warning lamp is available
are shown by the general warn-
ing lamp 1 in conjunction with a
warning text, e.g. 2 or a warning
symbol, e.g. 3, in the multifunc-
tion display. The universal warn-
ing lamp shows red or yellow,
depending on the urgency of the
warning.
If several warnings are active, all
corresponding warning lamps and
warning symbol are displayed;
warnings appear alternately.
