Output Channel – Limiter
The Limiter keeps the audio level from going above the set Threshold.

1. Limiter Tab – Selects the Limiter screen
2. In – RMS input level
3. Out – Output level
4. NR – Gain Reduction – indicates how much the signal is being reduced by the Limiter.
5. Limiter Nraph – When the Limiter is engaged, the trace is blue.
• Threshold (A)
• Ratio (B)
• Attack time (A to B)
• Release time (B to C)
• Vertical scale = dB
6. Threshold Slider – Sets the point at which the Limiter will begin to reduce signal level.
7. Ratio Slider – Sets the ratio of input level to output level when the signal exceeds the
threshold.
8. Attack Slider – Adjusts how quickly the Limiter reacts to a signal that exceeds
the threshold.
9. Release Slider – Adjusts how quickly the Limiter stops Limiting when signal falls below the Threshold.
10. Limiter In Button – Engages or disengages the limiter.
11. Knee In Button – Engages or disengages the Knee. The Knee provides a smoother transition from the Attack to the Release.

12. Simple Button – Turns the Simple mode on and off. Hides all controls except:
• Limiter In button
• Simple button
• Reset button
• Limiting (Threshold) knob
13. Reset Button – Sets all the Limiter controls to their factory default position.
