2-6-7. Confirmation for RS-485

Confirms the RS-485 operation that formed from
transparency type.
1. Connect D-sub pins 9 connector (for RS-485) of the
terminal table tool to RS-485/RS-232C converter (J-
6432-870-A). Connect D-sub pins 25 (male) of RS-
232C cross cable to RS-485 5 RS-232C, and
connect D-sub pins 9 (female) of RS-232C cross cable
to PC.
2. Start the terminal software (hyper terminal). (For start
setting, refer to "Setting for Hyper Terminal" that
described in afterward)
3. Click Setting of the Main Viewer screen, type the
"admin" to the user name and password box in the
confirmation screen. Check the check box that is
memorized password, then click OK button.
4. Click Serial menu, check the radio button of the
Standard to "RS485". Then click OK button.
5. Click Camera menu, select "320 x 240" from the list
box of Image Size. Then click Apply button.
6. Select the following CGI command from the address
list box on the internet explorer.

7. Confirm the following specification is satisfied.
Specification: "SNC-RZ30" should be indicated on
the hyper terminal.
(Confirmation for Ethernet → RS-485)
The images at 320 x 240 should be
indicated normally on the Main View
screen.
8. After performing Step 6 and within 10 seconds, type
the optional character line (example; "SNC-RZ30")
using the keyboard.
9. Confirm the following specification is satisfied.
Specification: After 10 seconds, typed character line
(example; "SNC-RZ30") should be
indicated on the internet explorer.

Procedure after Confirmation
1. Disconnect the AC adaptor from DC IN connector of
the SNC-RZ30N/RZ30P.
2. Turn off the power of the SNC-RZ30N/RZ30P.
3. Close the terminal software (hyper terminal) on PC.

2-6-8. Confirmation for Reset Switch

Performs the confirmation whether reset switch is operated
normally or not.
1. Connect the AC adaptor to DC IN connector of the
SNC-RZ30N/RZ30P while pressing the reset switch.
2. Turn on the power of the SNC-RZ30N/RZ30P.
3. After Power indicator is lit in green on the front, select
http://192.168.0.100 from the list box in address
section of the internet explorer.
4. Click "ActiveX Viewer" and select it on the Start
screen.
5. Confirm the following specification is satisfied.
Specification: The screen at 640 x 480 should be
indicated normally to the Main View
screen on the internet explorer.
Procedure after Confirmation
1. Disconnects Ethernet Cable (UPT category 5, cross
cable) between SNC-RZ30N/RZ30P and PC, and BNC
coaxial cable between SNC-RZ30N/RZ30P and color
monitor. Remove the I/O PORT tool from SNC-
RZ30N/RZ30P.
2. Disconnect the AC adaptor from DC IN connector of
the SNC-RZ30N/RZ30P.
3. Turn off the power of the SNC-RZ30N/RZ30P.
