4-1-11. PC Card Control Block

A PC card is accessed through CN201 and a PC card slot using HD6417615 (IC007) and a PC card
controller (IC201). The PC card corresponds to two slots. A PC card power supply of 3.3 VDC or 5
VDC can be used by PC card power selection circuit IC202.

4-1-12. Network Control Block

Network communication is controlled through HD6417615 (IC007), the PHY chip of IC301, and RJ45
(incorporated into a pulse transformer) of CN302. The communication between the HD6417615 (IC007)
and PHY chip (IC301) is performed by MII based on the IEEE802.3u standard. The transfer rate
(10Base-T/100Base-TX) or communication mode (full duplex/half duplex) can also be switched.

4-1-13. Reset Switch

The reset switch (S301) is used to return the system to the factory setting.
To return to the factory setting, turn on the power while pressing and holding S301.

4-1-14. Sensor Input Circuit

The sensor input circuit inputs the external sensor signal from the terminal board connector of CN304
using three photocouplers (PH301 to PH303) (three ports). The output signals (EXINT[02:00]) from the
photocouplers are input to the interrupt controller of MJPEG control ASIC (IC103) and recognized as an
interrupt signal (XSHINT[2:0]) of HD6417615 (IC007).

4-1-15. Alarm Output Block

The alarm output circuit inputs the relay control signals (RELAY0 and RELAY1), sent from HD6417615
(IC007), to two relays (RY301 and RY302) and turns on and off the switch inside the relays.
The relay output signal can control the external device by connecting with an external device from the
terminal board connector of CN304.

4-1-16. External RS-232/RS-485 Communication Block

The external RS-232/RS-485 communication block communicates with the outside through an RS-232
driver circuit (IC303) using communication control signals (EXT_TXD and EXT_RXD) from
HD6417615 (IC007) by RS-232C. It also communicates with the outside using identical communication
control signals by RS-485. This communication block can communicate in serial with the external
equipment when it is connected with external equipment from the terminal board connector of CN304.
Since RS-232 and RS-485 share the communication port of HD6417615 (IC007), they are switched using
the select signal (IF_SEL) from HD6417615 (IC007).
