Process Operation Descriptions

(1) Hopping and Feeding
Hopping and feeding motions are actuated by a single registration motor in the mechanism as
shown below:
The registration motor turning in direction "a" drives the hopping roller. The registration motor
turning in direction "b" drives the registration roller. The registration and hopping gears have one-
way bearing, so turning any of these gears in the reverse direction will not transmit the motion to the
corresponding roller.
